Beta pricing hypotheses

Pricing follows product trust.

Beamy is starting with a free creator beta while we prove that Ask Beamy, Beamy Control, real Twitch events, and OBS installation are reliable enough to charge for.

Billing is not live yet. No checkout runs from this page. Pricing will be validated during beta after cancellation, invoices, entitlement refresh, and support workflows are ready.

Launch tiers

These tiers mirror the entitlement limits currently enforced in Beamy. The exact paid prices stay a hypothesis until beta retention and real stream usage prove the value.

What must be true before paid launch

This is the commercial readiness gate. Beamy should not ask creators for recurring payment until these are working in practice.

Live reliability

Real Twitch events, Add to OBS, undo, refresh recovery, and support export must survive normal stream setup.

Account truth

Plan state, beta status, and entitlements must refresh from the server and be visible in the account dashboard.

Billing operations

Creators need clear invoices, cancellation, support workflows, and a way to understand usage before paid plans are enabled.

Pricing questions

Why not charge immediately?

Live-stream tools have a trust bar. Free beta lets Beamy prove reliability before asking creators to pay.

Will Free beta stay forever?

Free beta is a launch phase, not a final free plan. A permanent free tier should be defined after usage data is available.

Do paid packs require a subscription?

The goal is no. Pack ownership should be separate from plan state so makers can sell human-designed packs clearly.

Do makers get paid?

Yes, that is the intent. The maker pilot exists to validate attribution, ownership, and revenue-share mechanics before public pack sales.
